Pumpkin Patch 2016

October 20, 2016

The Full Service Community Schools Department hosted their 3rd Annual Pumpkin Patch for grades K-5.  Instead of going to the farm, we brought the farm to the playgrounds of The Senator Frank Lautenberg School.  Hay was spread on the ground while corn stalks hung on the fences.  Pumpkins were then laid on top of the hay and each student was able to pick a pumpkin and take it home with them.  There were 12 parent volunteers, Ms. Maribel Agosto, Ms. Malaysia Lee, Ms. Latifah Simmons, Mrs. Margaret Wilson, Ms. Charlina Buckingham, Mr. Anthony Roseburgh, Mrs. Kerra Roseburgh, Ms. Odalys Rivera, Ms. Gladys Santiago, Ms. Barbara Bermudez, and Ms. Maria Cruz.
